The Audio CD from Invis Multimedia features six Kathakalipadams, recited by Kottakkal Madhu and Vengeri Narayanan. They are accompanied by Kalanilayam Babu on Maddalam and Krishnadas on Chenda.

Kathakalipadams are songs sung in the Sopanam style of music and plays a significant role during performances of Kathakali, the resplendent classical dance form of Kerala. The story of Kathakali is conveyed through Kathakalipadams. The slow rhythmic pace with subtle variations in pitch is the noted feature of Kathakalipadams.
