The Audio CD titled Kaivalya has flute (Odakkuzhal) rendition by Kudamaloor Janardanan. Kaivalya or the Symphony of Meditationcharms the air through the swaras (musical notes) taking it to the innermost core of the soul and bringing tranquility to it.
Kaivalya is a creative endeavour on flute based on three melodious ragas, Nalinakanthi, Saraswathi and Sri, which will surely provide the mind with peace and energy. Sapthaswara, the seven musical notes and their combinations have the power to sway the human mind. Kaivalya played on flute by Kudamaloor is the music of Nirvana – a state of sublime joy in supreme meditation. A music that helps attain bliss in a moment of pure and simple union with the Eternal.
Kudamaloor Janardanan is a self-taught flautist, who has a unique style of playing. He has given many concerts and participated in many musical festivals. He is also an expert in Violin and in vocal music. Though a graduate in Violin from Madras University, Flute is his utmost passion.
